Online Card Games

If you’ve never played an online card game, you really have missed out. I don’t mean that online card games replace real card games, but who has time to meet with people for a card game in person. The great thing about playing a card game online is that you don’t have to set up a time and the place. You do not have to be dependent on other people’s schedules. You can pop in anytime you want, and then leave again, easy as pie.

Of course, everyone has a different online card game that they like to play. Many people like to play the traditional games. For example, poker online and online blackjack are both favorites. Online Texas hold ‘em, in particular, is doing very well.

Before the US Congress banned online gambling, I had many friends who would make hundreds of dollars playing online card games. The best thing is that they would usually enter the online card game for free. The gambling companies would host a free online card game in hopes of luring them into the higher stakes ones which cost money. Read more »

Online Sports Gambling

I have always enjoyed putting a friendly bet on a game. It makes it more exciting, and I tend to win more that I lose. Even if I lost more beds than I won, however, I would still love betting. After all, it brings friends together, gives you a reason to watch the game, and makes it important to you.

When I got into online sports gambling, however, I was suddenly in a whole different league. Online gambling is a serious business. With millions of dollars trading hands through online Internet casinos every year, and the US government recently voting to ban online gambling sites, there is a lot at stake for a lot of people.

Honestly, I was not sure if online sports gambling was legal or not. It seems to be legal, but I did not want to look too closely. Basically, I used an online sports betting site to place a bet on a football game that I was sure about. I was getting good odds, betting on an underdog, but I was sure that the odds were wrong. The Woes Of Casino Gambling

We live seven miles from a large Indian casino. Prior to moving close to the casino I would make a gambling trip about once a month with friends or relatives. They usually are by themselves and are oblivious to what is going on around them. They are focused on the slot machine and nothing else seems to matter. I have seen people that will sit at the same slot machine for hours putting in more and more money because they are sure that the machine is going to start paying off. One late morning my sister picked me up to go to the casino to play the slots and to have lunch. Read more »

Casino Gambling

We live close to an American Indian reservation. This is one of the oldest reservations in the state. For many years it was also one of the poorest areas of the state. About fifteen years ago they built an Indian casino on the southern end of the reservation land.

As the result of creative and constant casino marketing the Native Americans in this area have been able to develop a healthy infra structure for their band members.

When they first opened the casino it was a steel building that had a small restaurant area, a few black jack tables and about one hundred slot machines. They had a few people that came out of curiosity to see what the casino was all about. They also hired a casino marketing company.

This company did a great job of coming up with creative advertisement campaigns for radio, television, and print. They developed many promotions to get people to come and then developed the use of rewards cards to keep people coming back. As a result of the casino marketing campaigns the casino now has several hundred black jack tables, thousands of slot machines four restaurants and a hotel with more than five hundred rooms.
